幼いころから草花に興味を持ち、生け花やフラワーアレンジメントを習ったが自分の作品に満足できなかった。たまたま本で見たドイツのフラワーデザインに感動し、21歳で単身ドイツへ。ドイツ語を学びながらヒルトンホテルミュンヘン内のショップなどの生花店で修業した。フローリスト養成学校を優秀な成績で卒業した後、マイスター学校で学びマイスター（ドイツ職人に与えられる最高職位）の称号を取得。帰国後は阿佐ヶ谷にフラワーショップ花匠美を開業。2017年には13年に渡るドイツでの経験をもとにフラワーデザインの理論と実践を教えるドイツトップフローリストアカデミーを開校し、多くの生徒を指導している。
Even though she's been interested in flower design since she was a child and took the Ikebana and flower arrangement lessons for years, she had never been satisfied with her own work. At the age of 21, she was deeply moved by the German flower design which she happen to saw in the magazine and that took her to Germany alone. While studying German, she practiced flower arrangement at florists such as a shop in Hilton Hotel Munich. After the graduation from florist training school with excellent results in Germany, she studied at Meister School and got the title of Meister. In 2011, she opened florist shop "Hanatakumi" in Asagaya Tokyo and in 2017 she opened Germany Top Florist Academy where she teaches the theories and techniques of flower design based on her 13 years of experience in Germany.
