彼女の作品作りはアンティークペーパーを探すことから始まる。蚤の市やアンティークショップを回り、時には海外の友人からも送ってもらう。文化服装学院を卒業後、洋服のパターンナーとして活躍。退職後に様々な小物を作りはじめた。独特の使用感のある風合いに仕上げていく技法は、試行錯誤の末にたどり着いた独自のものだ。作品はイベントやインスタグラムを通じて熱狂的なファンを持ち、希望すればその技法を習うこともできる。
2017年1月、株式会社アンジュより彼女のプロデュースした「シャビーシックコラージュペーパー」発売。
Her artwork begins with searching antique papers by visiting flea markets and antique shops to find her favorite papers.
Overseas friends also help her with finding her favorite ones. After graduation from Bunka dressmaking school, she performed as a pattern maker for clothing. She began to make various kinds of
little goods after retirement. Her original, well-worn feature’s technique had been created by trial and error. Now she has many crazed fans through art events and instagram, and everyone can
learn its technique if they want to.
"Shabby Chic collage paper" she produced was released from Anju in January, 2017.
