洋服の裏地をカットして大きな目で編み、アクリルの持ち手を合わせたcyaneのバッグ。カジュアルからフォーマルまでマッチするライトエレガントなデザインが人気となり、全国のデパートイベントやインターネットで販売されている。
「アクリル家具メーカーで働いていたとき、柔らかくて軽くて、それでいて甘くなりすぎない洋服の裏地とアクリルを合わせてバッグを作ることを思いつきました。」
編み物の先生をしているお母様のアドバイスを得ながら何度か試作を重ねた後、このバッグで独立することを決意。以後、小物やアクセサリーなども手がけながら精力的に創作活動を続けている。
Cyane’s bag, with its acrylic handles that roughly knitted with cut clothes linings, matches both the casual and formal fashion. Its "Light -elegant" style became popular and now sold at department store events and the web shops.
“When I was working at an acrylic furniture manufacturer, I came up with this idea of making bags by combining acrylic and clothes lining which is soft, light,
but not too sweet."
While getting advice from her mother who is a knitting teacher, she made several prototypes and decided to launch her own label. Since then, she has been working on
other creative products such as accessories and small articles.

洋服の裏地用生地を細く何本にも切り分けていく。
「柔らかくてきれいな裏地をバッグに使うことを思いついたとき"これだ！"と思いました。」
She divides the lining fabric for clothes into several pieces.
“When I came up with the idea of using soft and beautiful linings for the bag, I thought "That is it! "
iD Chokiは長い距離を楽にカットできるロングタイプのブレードを選択。ブランド名のcyaneをレーザー刻印。
「細くて長すぎない刃は、左右ぶれることなくスムーズに柔らかい布を切ることができます。」
She selected long type blades for her ID Choki that can cut long distance easily. Label name “Cyane” was laser engraved on the blade.
“Thin and not too long blade can cut a soft cloth smoothly without blurring.”
アトリエの棚にはバッグ以外の作品も並んでいた。好きな色を組み合わせたオーダーメイドも可能とのこと。
Other products besides bags are lined up on the shelves in her atelier. Made-to-order is also possible by combining favorite colors.

「持っている人がハッピーな気分になれる商品を作りたいと思っています。売れっ子にならくていいし、食べていければいい。私のバッグを求めてくれる人がいて、それを作り続けられるならこんな幸せなことはありません。」
“I want to make products that make people feel happy. I do not have to be popular. It's enough if I can earn a
livelihood.
I couldn't be happier if I can keep making my bags for the people who want them.”
