銀粘土（アートクレイシルバー）を使い植物をモチーフにしたシルバーアクセサリーを作る。野原に生える小さな花や実を写実的に表現するのが彼女の作品の特徴。それだけに作業は細かく、針の先や細い筆の先を巧みに使って草花の繊細なカーブを表現する。シルバーの質感とモチーフの生命力が不思議にマッチした彼女のアクセサリーは、イベントなどでも大人気。教室ではその技術を習うこともできる。
She makes botanical motif accessories with art clay silver which graphically express the features of small flowers and fruits in the fields. Creating process is so delicate. She skillfully uses the tip of the needle and thin brush to express the curves of flowers. These accessories, with silvery texture mixed mysteriously with vigorous botanical motifs, are very popular in market events she participates. You can also learn her amazing technique in her class.
制作に使用するのは「アートクレイシルバー」と呼ばれる銀粘土。形成後に乾燥させ電気炉に入れ焼成することで水とバインダー(接着成分)がなくなり純銀になる。
Silver clay called “Art clay silver” is used for her creation. After formation, it will be dried and placed in an electric furnace. After baking to eliminate water and adhesive components, it turns into pure silver.
銀粘土を袋から取り出し、細かく切り分けて手で形成していく。
Take the silver clay out of the bag, cut it finely and form by hand.
細かい箇所は針や筆の先端で形を整える。モチーフとなる植物を入念に観察してできるだけリアルに表現するのが彼女の作品の特徴。
Fine parts are shaped by the tip of the needle or brush. She carefully observes plants and express them as realistic as possible.
