マーメイド紙をガラス棒で擦って滑らかな植物のカーブを生み出す彼女の作品は、様々な雑誌や機関紙などに採用されて高い評価を得ている。使用する道具やテクニックは試行錯誤の末にたどり着いたもの。自宅教室やカルチャーセンターでのレッスンも実施し、多くの生徒に技術やデザインを指導している。
Smooth curves of botanical motifs are shaped by rubbing papers with a glass stick. Her art works are well-regarded and shown in various magazines and publications. Although techniques ware acquired through trial and error, she teaches her valuable know-how for many students at home lessons and adult education classes.
ペーパーレリーフ制作の流れ
①ハサミやカッターを使い花びらや葉の形に紙を切る
Cut papers into flowers and leaves shape using scissors and knife.
②スタンプインクなどで色を付ける
Color them with stamp inks.
③ガラス棒で擦って植物の自然なカーブを表現する（ラウンディング）
Express botanical natural curves by rubbing with a glass stick.(Rounding)
④紙専用の糊でパーツを貼り合わせる
Put parts together with glue for paper.
